What Do I Care About?
Building a community centered space for self-expression and creativity. Creativity is the most precious vehicle for self-expression and leads to liberation from self-doubt and insecurities. I lead by example in the way I show up for myself and my craft. I’m dedicated to fueling the flame of my creativity by devoting time and energy into my writing. Writing is what brings me self-fulfillment. It’s what keeps my focus for hours at a time in a world where a pocket sized screen and capture my attention for an entire day.
Curiosity. Expansion. Adventure. These are some of the values I hold close to my heart. I used to think that I wasn’t very brave or adventurous, but looking at the adventures I’ve taken myself on from Costa Rica to Greece to London and the Italian Dolomites, say otherwise. Even the journey back to higher education was terrifying in the presence of the unknown brought on by the pandemic, but my unhindered curiosity carried me through to the end of a 14 year long chapter.
I care about creating a world which I can thrive and be happy. I care about helping others do the same. I’m deeply invested in my growth and reaching out to others to help them do the same. I think that storytelling, in all its forms, is essential to survival. It’s why we keep making art and retell our favorite stories over and over again.
I believe that all original ideas are collaborations. From our family, friends, society, the art and music and media we consume; they all leave an impression. They help mold our beliefs and style and evolve our own art and expression. We take what inspires us and transform it through unique experiences to produce something new. I believe that collaboration leads to progress. My hope is to collaborate with other creatives, from various fields, to build new content that is shared and evolves through each new iteration that transforms through the process.
